The Gold Licence Caterer's™ Accreditation offers caterers the opportunity to differentiate their business from competitors by demonstrating their high level of professionalism, food safety, and workplace standards.

The Gold Licence™ Caterer's Accreditation is a symbol of quality that members of the public can trust when hiring a caterer. The Gold Licence™ program recognises caterers who adhere to the highest standards of food safety and industry best practice. The Gold Licence™ logo and a business Gold Licence™ Number can be used on all promotional material, signalling to prospective clients that the business has met the requirements of the Gold Licence™ Accreditation Council.

The application process assesses each business's capability, adherence to industry best practices, and industry experience as well as ensures they are compliant as a business in the following areas:

Food Safety
Staff Training
Business Liability
Industry Experience
Registration and Compliance

You will need to provide the following supporting documents to progress through your Gold Licence™ Application:

Supporting Evidence - 1 - Food Premises Licence
Supporting Evidence - 2 - Public Liability Insurance
Supporting Evidence - 3 - Workers Compensation Insurance
Supporting Evidence - 4 - Food Safety and HACCP Plan
Supporting Evidence - 5 - Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Supporting Evidence - 6 - Health Inspection Report – last one conducted
Supporting Evidence - 7 - Appointed First Aid Officer
Supporting Evidence - 8 - Take Away And Food Delivery (if required) please send photos of containers
Supporting Evidence - 9 - Do you have food transportation vehicles? Please send photos of vehicles inside and out
Supporting Evidence - 10 - Other Commercial Kitchen Premises (if required)
Supporting Evidence - 11 - Business Liquor Licence (if required)
Supporting Evidence - 12 - Industry Experience such as a resume

The Gold Licence™ is effective for one year from the approval date. A renewal application must be submitted each year for approval.
