“We have been in this industry for more than 30 years and have seen plenty of changes and developments. I have seen the Association evolve into a dynamic organisation during this period. What has always been a constant is that they are our collective voice and representative body for our industry. To have a voice to government you need to be a part of your Association”.

Pelligrinis Espresso Bar

Vale Sisto Malaspina    9.11.18

R&CA expresses its deepest condolences at the passing of Sisto Malaspina, the beloved co-owner of Pellegrini’s Expresso Bar. Sisto made a significant contribution to the industry and was a strong part of the fabric of Melbourne’s café scene. Pellegrini’s has been a member of the association for over 25 years and Sisto’s loss will be felt by many.

Dealing with government on issues that affect your business is difficult on your own. That’s why R&CA acts on behalf of 35,000 restaurants, cafes and catering businesses around Australia.

View R&CA’s Your Industry Advocate document, which provides a summary of the key policies the association has advocated to government over the past 12-24 months, its successes, and areas of future focus.
