There are many benefits from the R&C Awards, and the standard of competition is high
We are nearly at the end of judging in the 2010 Awards season. Across the nation we will have judged over 2,000 restaurant, catering and café businesses. Overall, the quality is outstanding. Each and every year it is so uplifting to see the industry producing such a high quality product. The awards show it very clearly—the customer experience in Australia’s restaurants is among the best in the world.
The support of members for the awards process is resounding. Whilst the biggest smiles at the Awards events are those who win, there is also no shortage of very positive comments about what improvements finalists are planning to make in these businesses.
In addition to the benefits that accrue to individual businesses, there are high hopes that the tourism quality scheme will embrace the Restaurant & Catering Awards. This should mean that all businesses that are judged (and receive a rating) will be part of the tourism ‘accreditation’ scheme. This is a significant recognition of the Savour Australia rating / Awards judging system. Thank you for your participation in the awards in 2010.
