R&CA helps members keep abreast

Entering the last month of the year can be a hectic time for café and restaurant owners, with the pressure on to deliver during what is normally the busiest and most profitable period of the year. While many other workplaces around the country close for the year, cafés, restaurants and caterers are hard at it as their businesses quickly fill up with the customary office Christmas parties and other festive events. At the end of the year, they may find themselves struggling to balance the increased demands and the competing pressures that owning a café, restaurant or catering company entails.

R&CA is fully aware that staying on top of what is happening throughout the industry can be difficult for café, restaurant and caterer business owners at quiet times of the year, let alone during the hectic holiday season! New compliance measures are coming out all the time so it remains as important as ever to stay on top of what’s affecting the industry through your membership of the Association. R&CA provides its members with regular weekly updates, informing them in plain English of their various obligations as an employer, whether it be legal, regulatory or industrial. With time resources at a minimum during the busy summer months, why not let R&CA be your eyes and ears for everything that is going on in our fast-paced, rapidly changing industry.  I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
