The National Awards provides the perfect venue for promoting the new consumer brand campaign.
It is going to be a real honour to launch the Savour Australia campaign at the Australian National Awards in Sydney on 30 October. I hope you will be there as we celebrate the initiative to encourage consumers to eat out more often and spend more when they do.
The launch will involve the release of the Food and Wine Atlas of Australia, the Restaurant Guide and the Savour Australia branding. We hope the winners and finalists will join us in promoting their win using the Savour brand. This should assist in getting maximum leverage behind both our communication and that of our winners.
Winners and finalists will be able to use the Savour imagery and branding to support the promotion of their achievement. The association has built a photo library of over 180 images that utilises last year’s consumer research and are designed to get consumers ‘up and out’ into one of your restaurants or catering businesses.
The research undertaken by Roy Morgan shows the consumer desire to dine is aspirational, and that images of people enjoying themselves will help get consumers to eat out. Please use these resources, as they will help your business and reinforce the industry brand. The strength of the brand will rebound back in a more robust dining market, and in the longer term a stronger value proposition for restaurant consumers.
The awards’ sponsors have also embraced Savour Australia. In particular, our platinum supporters Fosters Australia and Westpac have supported the industry to grow the dining market.
