An exciting partnership has been announced between Australia’s online restaurant reservation company, Dimmi, and web-based marketplace for function spaces, iVvy. Dimmi has been searching for a solution for a long time, with its subscribers hoping for a booking function that would help restaurateurs attract and manage event enquiries. The collaboration seeks to match customers with the private dining rooms and function spaces that, until now, were often left empty.
“For many years, restaurants have been asking us how we can help them better lease their private dining rooms functions and events, and we’ve never really had an answer,” says Stevan Premutico, the chief executive and founder of Dimmi. “But today through this partnership with our friends at iVvy, I’m happy to say we’ve got a solution to help restaurants capture more bookings for their private dining rooms functions and events.”
The venture hopes to welcome new customers that may never have come into contact with registered restaurants before through an online marketplace, and will even connect restaurants directly with event organisers. The combination of services is set to maximise revenue for restaurants.
The new software will streamline event bookings across the board by helping to manage event spaces, driving leads and bookings, all the while providing real-time data to restaurateurs.
“By coming together we now have the opportunity to be able to help monetise that through greater opportunities of revenue and efficiencies over all,” says Lauren Hall, the chief executive and founder of iVvy. “We’re really really excited about working together because this is going to really shift this industry into a better, more efficient environment.”
