A change is gonna come

Your industry association has ways to guide you through some of many changes to legislation happening now

There is so much changing right now that this is the most critical time to be a member of your industry Association. It is also important to use as many of the services on offer as possible to keep abreast of the business environment. The new industrial awards, the other changes in the industrial relations landscape, superannuation, and the training system—to name a few—will all have an impact on your businesses.

The rapid rate of change is happening with little government support. While there has been some support through the Fair Work Education and Information Program (for which we are grateful), most of the other changes are being made without an understanding of the impact on small businesses.

I urge you to attend information sessions, to read the updates we send through, and to encourage your colleagues to do the same. We really will need to pull together if we are to live through this period of significant reform. The changes on industrial relations are such that you really need to seek advice. Please consider attending one of the sessions we are running in March. Alternatively, call us on 1300 722 878 and ask one of our consultant for the award rates that are applicable in your business. These have changed this year. Please check in to make sure you are covered.
